【細節點1】單複數的判斷

這個細節是很多考生有力卻使不上的一個點，但只要我們稍微留意，關於單複數的題目我們是可以看到的。

《舉例 1》Cambridge 5 Test 2 Section3 Question 24

Listening to British students’

Language because of:

normal speed

large amount of ……………………

題目中的 amount of 是修飾不可數名詞，因此我們可以判斷此題的答案是單數。

與此相同修飾不可數名詞的還有：plenty of, a great deal of, a sum of

而修飾可數名詞的則有：a number of, many

《舉例 2》Cambridge 4 Test 4 Questions 24 and 26

Q24: to show how……………grow

Q26: to teach children about how …………….. is made up

Q24 根據判斷應填入名詞，空格後面是 grow為現在簡單式，所以我們可以判斷填名詞複數。

Q26 空後面是 is，這個很容易，空格絕對是填名詞單數。

【細節點二】大小寫的判斷

雅思聽力練習時，大小寫有一部分是很明確的：一定要大寫的包含「專有名詞」，如人名、地名、月份、星期等。但還有一部分不是很明確，常常使很多考生疑惑，針對這部分考官建議參照題目的統一格式來決定大小寫，這樣就不會丟分數了。

【細節點三】做題時間

做題時間分為「做題前」和「做題中」。

考生在備考過程中，練習雅思聽力時一定要注意只有聽到 NOW TURN TO SECTION ONE時，才能打開聽力試卷，以求練習時的時間計算與分配能夠更加精確。

【細節點四】雅思聽力練習的時間

這裡提到的時間分為兩個概念：練習聽力的「時間點」和「時間長度」。

以「時間點」而言，考官建議儘量選擇上午的時間來練習聽力，理由是聽力測驗為雅思的第一部分考試，並且是從上午 9點開始。考生需調整好做聽力題的最佳狀態，即與考試的時間點同步。如果練習的時間不容易安排，至少快接近考試時，安排上午的時間練習聽力。

就「時間長度」而言，建議以「2個小時」左右最佳。有的考生為了在聽力成績上取得更高的分數，會連續做聽力超過2個小時，但從實際的成績來看，這種狂聽的效果並不理想。由於時間太長，大腦較累、集中力也降低，因此很容易破壞我們聽題時的瞬間注意力。
相反地，有的考生只聽了30~40分鐘，就覺得已經有練習到聽力了，其實這個時間長度只是剛剛進入聽力的狀態，這時候立刻停止等於前功盡棄，聽力並沒有得到很好的練習。

【細節點五】雅思聽力單字的背誦

雅思聽力中的單字與場景有很大的關聯，越來越多的考生也了解到這個重要性，但對於這些場景單字的發音卻非常不熟悉，導致無法直接反應這個發音即是自己背過的單字，如此一來非常可惜。建議大家在背聽力單字時一定也要大聲唸出來，多聽幾次發音，讓單字的發音對我們的大腦形成一種刺激和反射，切記不要像背閱讀單字那樣只在心裡默念。請記住：對於聽力單字而言，默念一百遍，不如大聲朗讀十遍。

【細節點六】字數要求

這個細節是每位考生都知道但也最容易出錯的。通常雅思聽力題目的字數要求都是 NO MORE THAN THREE WORDS，但最容易出錯的情況是 NO MORE THAN ONE WORD AND /OR A NUMBER。

《舉例》Cambridge 6 Test 3 Question2

考題要求：Write ONE WORD AND /OR A NUMBER for each answer.

題目：

Date of birth: …………………..

原文：the twenty‐seventh of the first of 1973

解析：根據考官給出的字數要求，這個題目要寫成：27/1/1973 或是 27‐1‐1973。

如果寫成 27th January,1973，這題的分數就沒了。

【細節點七】單字或詞組？

雅思聽力練習是做填空題，這個問題現在困擾著越來越多的考生，要填的字應該是單字或是詞組？

《舉例》Cambridge 5 Test 4 Question 11

The next meeting of the soccer club will be in the ………..in King’s Park on 2 July.

答案：clubhouse

很多考生都把 clubhouse分開寫，進而影響分數。

建議大家在背單字的過程中，請特別留意是單字還是詞組，才不會影響聽力成績。

牢記這 24條策略，聽力高分絕對有備無患！

1. 雅思聽力只考【細節】，原則上不考【總結題】與【主旨題】。

2. 聽力最重要的是單字，聽力單字與其他單字不同點在於：你需要聽出單字，而不是單純的看出或者寫出單字。

3. 聽力的大小寫問題不要過分強調，官方回答通常情況下是大小寫都可。

4. 需要特別注意單字的【拼寫】和【單複數】，細節決定成敗。

5. 注意題型的多樣性，主要兩大類分為【填空題】和【選擇題】。

6. 填空題分為：表格題、總結填空題、單句填空題、地圖題。

7. 填空題要根據空格前後的字來預測答案的詞性和內容。

8. 做適當的筆記，跟題目預測相關內容的筆記，比如說填數位，就記錄數位；填動詞就記錄動詞。

9. 注意原文和題目的同義字替換，雅思聽力考的就是題目和原文的同義替換能力。

10. 速記答案時採用縮寫形式，只記單字的前兩個字母或者輔音變化，不用全部拼寫出來。

11. 不選違反常規的選項。

12. 明顯跟其它三個選項不同的選項，90%是干擾項。

13. 正確的選項往往是對原文的同義替換，生動具體、重覆原本單字的選項通常不正確。

14. 對於字數較多、難以辨別的選項，一定要認真比較它們的關鍵字，不要怕耽誤時間。

15. 選擇題要注意”聽風就是雨”的陷阱，要聽懂整個句子再進行選擇。

16. 看題目要沉著，明確題目問什麼再答題。考生因審題粗心而答錯的機率比你想像的高得多。

17. 在同一題下出現並列的片語、單字、數字，一般選最後一個。

18. 注意重覆原則，同一題出現多次的單字是關鍵字，也有可能就是答案。

19. 句中突然出現語音、語調、語速的變化，極有可能暗示答案的出現。

20. 句中出現了明顯的轉折字，代表有考點的出現。

21. 趁印象深刻快速答題，否則會記憶缺失，混淆正確答案。

22. 雅思聽力的出題頻率一般是間隔30秒鐘會出一題，如果時間過長沒有出現下一道題的答案，多半已經漏聽了，答案已經過了。注意捨得原則，有捨才有得，趕緊跳過往下答題。

23. 沒有證據，切忌”想當然”，聽力裡面沒聽到的內容，不要直接拿常理來推論。沒找到箭靶，胡亂放槍，肯定不會打中。

今天我們幫各位小偵探總結一下，在輔導學生準備托福的過程中，托福聽力答題時常犯的9種錯誤有哪些呢？各位小偵探接下來在準備托福聽力時，可以繞道而行，避免同樣的錯誤再次發生。

第1種：原文信息漏聽

　　這是最常見的一種錯誤原因，在聽力的過程中，由於種種原因導致細節漏聽。什麼是「種種原因」呢？可能包括：

　　1. 聽力基礎不好，比如單字量太少，文法太差導致各種聽不懂

　　2. 由於聽力說話者的語速較快，思路跟不上語速

　　3. 由於環境干擾走神或者耐心不足、注意力不集中

【解決方法】

　　1. 練習聽寫、背單字、加強文法概念，提升基礎的聽力能力

　　2. 練習跟讀並學習模仿，提升資訊處理速度

　　3. 必需連續聽音練習，提升耐力或有必要時做「抗干擾練習」，比如做聽力時，同時播放英文廣播等

第 2 種：選項中的單字不認識

　　選項中的單字不認識，直接導致選項無法正常翻譯理解。

　　《例》

　　Why does the professor discuss refugia? Click on 2 answers

　　A. To explain that the location of coral within a reef affects the coral’s ability to survive

　　B. To point out why some coral species are more susceptible to bleaching than others

　　C. To suggest that bleaching is not as detrimental to coral health as first thought

　　D. To illustrate the importance of studying coral that has a low vulnerability of bleaching

　　這道題目B選項中的susceptible、C選項中的detrimental，以及D選項中的vulnerability很多同學可能不認識，不知其意，所以在選擇答案時出現困難。

【解決方法】

課後通過單字書大量累積單字，練習題目的時候在文章中和選項中，把自己不懂和似懂非懂的單字給記錄下來，形成自己的單字本。

第3種：選項翻譯錯誤

　對句子的結構辨識不清，導致翻譯出錯。

　　《例》

　　What point do the speakers make about the background of The Dreamer?

　　A. It is a good example of Beaux’s unusual style of brushstroke.

　　B. It resembles the backgrounds of other Beaux portraits.

C. Its lack of clarity emphasizes the theme of the painting.

　　D. It is meant to suggest that the woman is in a dark room.

　　這個題目的正確答案為C，正確翻譯是：缺少清晰度的背景強調了這幅畫的主題

很多同學把這句話中的lack看成了謂語動詞，翻譯成：背景沒有清晰的強調這幅畫的主題，和正確的翻譯截然相反，導致選錯。

【解決方法】

加強文法，確定好詞性和句子成分。

第 4 種：形近詞看錯

由於把選項中的形近詞看錯，或者把某個單字看成另外一個形近詞，導致理解錯誤。

　　《例》

　　What is the lecture mainly about?

　　A. The environmental effects of heap roasting

　　B. The reforestation efforts in the Copper Basin

　　C. The process of mining and producing copper

　　D. Damages caused during an attempt to clean up industrial waste

有部分同學把A和B選項中的effect和effort看混淆，或者把B選項中的reforestation看成deforestation，導致理解的意思截然不同，所以選錯。

【解決方法】

睜大雙眼，仔細審查題目、看清選項描述。

第 5 種：沒有留意到單詞的複數形

　　在「主旨題」中，做主詞的單複數有截然不同的意義，如果是複數名詞則意味著這篇講座必須講解多個事物或者從多角度多方面講解某個事物；如果此篇講座只講解了單一事物或一個方面，則複數選項為錯，很多同學沒有仔細到單複數的變化，導致選錯。

　　《例》

　　What are the speakers mainly discussing?

　　A. An architect from the United States and a house design she created

　　B. The disadvantage of houses based on a square design

　　C. Difficulties faced by residential architects in the nineteenth century

　　D. Women who had a major influence on architecture in the United States

　　這個題目的正確答案為A，很多同學會選D。D選項的主詞是women，而這篇講座只講了一個女建築師的事情，所以排除D。
